Healing Isn’t the End of Conflict—It’s the Beginning of Honesty
We think healing will make life easier, quieter, less messy. But sometimes, the most powerful healing leads to more honesty—and with that, more conflict. The good kind.
When I first began healing—like really healing—I thought it would mean less conflict.
I assumed peace would come naturally. That once I was more self-aware, more emotionally intelligent, more grounded… the hard conversations would just sort of dissolve.
They didn’t.
In fact, the deeper I got into the work, the more I started to speak up.
The less I swallowed.
The more I noticed the ways I’d been bending myself out of shape just to keep the peace.
And peace, it turns out, isn't always quiet.
