Healing Isn’t the End of Conflict—It’s the Beginning of Honesty

Healing Isn’t the End of Conflict—It’s the Beginning of Honesty

When I first began healing—like really healing—I thought it would mean less conflict.

I assumed peace would come naturally. That once I was more self-aware, more emotionally intelligent, more grounded… the hard conversations would just sort of dissolve.

They didn’t.

In fact, the deeper I got into the work, the more I started to speak up.

The less I swallowed.

The more I noticed the ways I’d been bending myself out of shape just to keep the peace.

And peace, it turns out, isn't always quiet.
